One of the youngest Doctors of Biological Science in Ukraine works for A.G.R. Group

Head of Technologies Implementation and Monitoring in Crop Farming of A.G.R. Group Sergiy Khablak defended a thesis and took PhD in Biological Science.

Having defended PhD thesis in Biological Sciences at the age of 37, Khablak became one of the youngest Doctors of Biological Science in Ukraine who are engaged in research and development in the sphere of crop farming and grain growing.

The thesis with the subject “Genetic control of root system development in Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh.” is devoted to the issues related to the genetics of plant root systems and creation of plant variety and hybrids enabling the use of the soil and fertilizers mineral elements efficiently.

The founder and President of A.G.R. Group Misak Khidiryan congratulated Sergiy Khablak with PhD taken and emphasized that it was important to implement scientific-based innovations in the farming companies of the agriholding. Miskak Khidiryan said, “One of the priorities of A.G.R. Group development is attracting the best professionals. We are pleased that the holding has such professionals and enthusiasts as Sergiy Khablak. In the process of grain growing we are striving to use the most innovative development results. And in many cases due to the presence of scientific practitioners in our team we have managed to increase productivity and efficiency of our farming companies”.

In return, Sergiy Khablak thanked for these congratulations and mentioned that possibility to use his own scientific research results in practice is an important motivating factor in his job.
