On November 15, the Law of Ukraine "On Agricultural Cooperation" comes into force, which is designed to improve the legal framework and create additional economic prerequisites for the development of cooperation in Ukrainian agriculture. Despite the fact that agricultural cooperation is still underdeveloped in Ukraine, foreign experience proves that the unification of small farms into cooperatives is the most effective way to develop agricultural business. To take full advantage of the new law, the management of A.G.R. Group, it was decided to create a division in the structure of the agricultural holding, whose tasks will include the development of external cooperation with participants in the agricultural market. For this, the holding has formed a department of external cooperation, which will be headed by Sergey Barybin.

“By creating cooperatives, Ukrainian farmers will be able to get significant discounts on fuels and lubricants, fertilizers, logistics services, which previously could only be available to large agricultural holdings. In turn, the cooperative will be able to sell products grown by farms directly to leading traders at the most attractive prices. The association will also help small agricultural enterprises to attract credit financial resources, update the equipment park with modern agricultural machinery, use the experience and knowledge of leading agronomists and, as a result, get additional profits, ”comments Sergey Barybin.
